The Red River Valley Dental Access Project helps provide immediate relief of pain for low-income dental patients. Dr. Johnson has been volunteering at Red River Valley Dental Access since returning to Fargo. He believes that everyone deserves to be taken care of and this organization makes every effort to ensure this is the case.
The Great North Pole’s mission is to work with local non-profits and community partnerships to help children and families in need in the counties of Cass & Clay. We were honored to be a sponsor at their first ever gala in 2017 and also donated over 1,000 toothbrushes and toothpaste to those in need. We have continued to support this mission and plan to in the years to come!
The United Way of Cass-Clay serves local individuals who need support in creating better opportunities for themselves and their families. They empower those who make a commitment to LIVE UNITED by inviting them to give, advocate and volunteer for their community. Dr. Johnson’s wife Liz, was a graduate of the 35 Under 35 Women’s Leadership Program in 2017 and is currently serving on the Women’s United Leadership Team. She had such a positive experience, we decided to help sponsor and be involved with the annual 35 Under 35 Graduation, Women’s Golf Scramble and Women’s Leadership luncheon.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is America’s leader in one-to-one youth service, creating positive mentoring friendships that benefit children, volunteers, families, neighborhoods and communities. We have given back by participating in their fundraising event “Bowling for Kid’s Sake,” and also have given away Star Wars premiere movie tickets.
The Fargo Salvation Army assists Cass and Clay County residents in emergencies and offers a wide range of ongoing basic needs services. Physical, emotional and spiritual help is provided to anyone in need without discrimination. In addition, Salvation Army officers lead worship services every Sunday. The Salvation Army asked our team to serve their noon meal on May 4, 2018, in celebration of May the 4th Be With You. It was a great experience dressing up in Star Wars gear and serving our community. We hope to continue to partner with the Salvation Army for volunteer events in the future.
Since 1984, Sanford Children’s Hospital has proudly served children and families as North Dakota’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Funds raised stay local to support family services and unique programs, provide education and help purchase life-saving equipment and technology to save and transform lives, close to home. As always, 100% of funds raised here stay here to help kids in our region. Our Practice Manager, Danielle, has been supporting this organization for over 20 years. This year our team had the honor of joining her as volunteers at the 20th annual Cares for Kids Radiothon. We looked forward to supporting this organization for years to come!
